Good policymaking is crucial for positive change. With my successful completion of the Executive Master Potential Africa at Sciences Po Paris, I benefitted of intensive exchanges with peers and experts … and could (finally) do intensive research work on how to prepare better internationalisation stakeholders in Africa AND Europe in changing geopolitical frameworks and for intercontinental relations. The comprehensive study programme at one of the best universities worldwide in politics, the debates with Sciences Po professors and further experts, the deep dive into African policymaking realities – including with the exclusive group of study colleagues from a wide range of different African countries - was an incredible learning journey throughout the year 2025. I had and will continue to challenge myself with questions related to concrete needs of populations and stakeholders and how to evolve frameworks towards fully functional intercontinental ecosystems of cooperation and exchange. I wrote my master thesis on the still widely untapped potential of cultural diplomacies and relations from many African countries towards the German-speaking worlds and how these approaches can be instrumental for local development and trade at the same time. The publishing of this thesis is still a big endeavour on my to do list for 2026. The completion of the executive master is also a good occasion for thanks, to my family for the lasting support and patience, to the interviewees on both continents dedicating time and energy to bring forward my master thesis, the colleagues and professors for their continued engagement to strengthen the African continent and international relations … the many great people in Senegal who I had the occasion to meet during my field research trip.
