The Periphery in the Center
The perception of periphery is a question of
standpoints and priorities including in development
in and with culture.
In my interview for the Salzburger Nachrichten -
one of the main Austrian quality newspapers, - I
explore these perspectives in view of the European
Capitals of Culture 2024: Salzkammergut (Austria),
Bodo (Norway) and Tartu (Estonia). All three
provide forward-looking approaches to overcome
stereotypes in culture (policy) and beyond. Have a
