(cultural) cooperation between Africa and EU/rope.
My study “Capitals of Culture International
Cooperation Format Analysis: How Cities and Local
Governments Can Contribute to Better Relations
Between Africa and EU/rope?” on the local
dimension of cultural cooperation for the
Deconfining project was debated in an
intercontinental panel with stakeholders from
European and African perspectives.
While the whole cooperation eco-system needs
improvement, local stakeholders can contribute
with a wide range of engagements including
supporting actively global culture campaigns,
strengthening local NGOs working internationally or
consider international access to local calls for
projects.
