Data Protection Statement

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively in compliance with the legal regulations (DSGVO, TKG 2003). You have rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection, insofar as this does not conflict with a statutory retention obligation. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data-protection laws or your data-protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, please contact us. You can also file a complaint with the regulatory authorities. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.

We provide you with information here about the most important aspects of data processing within our website:

Access data/log files

We (or our webspace provider) collect data about all access to our website (so-called server log files). The access data includes: name of the retrieved webpage, file, date and time of retrieval, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.

We use the log files only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, safety and optimisation of our website. However, we reserve the right to retrospectively check the log files if, on the basis of specific evidence, legitimate suspicion of unlawful use exists.

Form data

All forms on this website are primarily used for visitors to contact us. All data entered will be kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties, except our newsletter provider (see below). After submitting a form, the data entered will be stored on the server for processing the request and for follow-up questions and will be sent in an e-mail to the visitor and the site operator for further processing. Optional input fields are offered to facilitate contact and subsequent correspondence. We place an emphasis on designating only those fields as mandatory which provide necessary information.

Inquiries that do not lead to a specific business case with corresponding retention periods are also stored in our business contacts database to facilitate any correspondence in subsequent inquiries and business cases. Furthermore, as far as we can identify legitimate interest in a range of services/products from the data, it will be used for future information. Inactive contacts and inquiry details will be deleted after a certain period of time after the last correspondence according to our data protection policy.

Newsletter

With appropriate consent, the name and e-mail address will be stored in our e-mail distribution list until further notice in order to be included in the distribution of the newsletter, which includes advertising information. Consent to receive the newsletter can be revoked by clicking on the link at the end of each e-mail. As part of the registration, we or our newsletter provider store the registration and the confirmation time and the IP address of the user. We are legally obliged to log the registrations in order to prove proper registration.

Messages as part of a contractual relationship are not included in this category. This includes the sending of technical information, information on payment processing, queries about orders and comparable messages, which you will also receive after unsubscribing from the newsletter.

The newsletter is distributed via “MailChimp”, a newsletter shipping platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave # 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

The e-mail addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as their other information described in these notices, are stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletters on our behalf. Furthermore, MailChimp may, according to its own information, use this data for the purpose of optimising or improving its own services, e.g. for the technical optimisation of shipping and the presentation of newsletters or for economic purposes in order to determine from which countries the recipients come. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to contact these recipients directly, nor does it pass the data on to third parties.

We trust on the reliability, IT and data security of MailChimp. MailChimp is certified under the US-EU privacy agreementPrivacy Shield” and is committed to complying with EU data-protection requirements. Furthermore, we have concluded a Data-Processing Agreement with MailChimp. This is an agreement in which MailChimp pledges to protect the data of our users, to process it in accordance with its privacy policy on our behalf and, in particular, not to disclose it to third parties. The privacy policy of MailChimp can be viewed here.

We use exactly one cookie for website visitors, which is generated by our website-system "joomla". It is used to prevent Spam submission of forms and to store the favorite language you selected. It is not tied to your ip address nor does it store any other personal data.
